They also hold leadership positions in finance and banking, including overseeing financial institutions, fostering public-private collaborations, and managing international finance.

 Public Policy Analysis and Public Administration: Fellows take on diverse roles, including health policymakers, doctors, clinicians with managerial duties, health educators, and practitioners involved in policy-making, all of which support public health education and the implementation of effective public health policies and management in their regions and nations.

 Technology Policy and Management: Humphrey Fellows work as technology instructors, chief information officers, policy consultants, engineers, and urban planners. They develop technology policies and oversee scientific and technological advancements at local, regional, and national scales.

Substance Abuse Education, Treatment, and Prevention: Humphrey Fellows specialize in areas such as community-based treatment and prevention initiatives, hospitals, and local or national policy organizations, addressing issues related to alcohol, drug, and tobacco use, as well as broader public health concerns connected to substance abuse, including HIV/AIDS, mental health, medicine, psychology, social work, and counseling.

Educational Administration, Planning, and Policy: Humphrey Fellows contribute to fields like primary and secondary education curriculum development, program design, adult education, and teacher training, which aid in education planning, policy creation, and reform implementation, drawing on the U.S. education system.
