for the 2025/26 academic year. This scholarship, funded by the Malaysian
Government, is available to international students who wish to pursue a
Master’s Degree at Malaysian universities. It is specifically for the
September/October intake of the 2025/2026 academic year. Prospective applicants
must first secure admission to a Malaysian public university before applying
for the scholarship. The MTCP scholarship is valid for a period ranging from 24
to 36 months. An IELTS score is not necessary if the applicant has previously
completed a degree at an institution where English was the language of

Eligibility Criteria

recipient countries.

applicant must be a citizen of a developing country.
- The
age of the applicant should not be more than Not more than 45 years at the

applicant must have completed a bachelor’s degree with a CGPA of 3.50

How to Apply for the MTCP Scholarship 2025/26?
Applicants are allowed to apply to several universities from
the list, but they must submit only one recent admission or conditional offer
letter in the MTCP Online application form.
